Egypt and meddling in Sudanese affairs

Look at that... the dictators always support each other... Egypt's president Hosni Mubarak firmly supports Sudan's unity, which could be attained by peace and development process in the south of the neighboring country. Mubarak voiced the support at a joint press conference with Salva Kiir Mayardit, Sudan's first vice president and the president of the southern Sudanese government during his visit to Juba, the capital of southern Sudan. Whenever the USA or Europe speak one word about human rights in Egypt, it is considered meddling in the internal affairs of Egypt. Mubarak obviously has no problem to meddle in the internal affairs in Sudan, where they will hold a referendum on the issue of unity in a few years time.
