It’s sad they were kicked out in the first place, which is why many in the Darfur advocacy community have reservations about ICC prosecution. Indeed, once an arrest warrant was issued against Bashir, he retaliated by kicking out aid organizations who were doing crucial work in the Darfur region. That’s why some experts believe a diplomatic solution would be a wiser choice.
